Terms of Use · Updated 4 November 2026

Termsof use.

Please read these terms before using Golden Hour. By using the app you agree to them.

1. The agreement

These terms are between you and Oleksandr Butenko, the developer of Golden Hour (“we”). Your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If the two conflict, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.

2. What Golden Hour is

Golden Hour estimates how tonight's sunset may look and shows it as an artistic scene. Forecasts and scores are estimates based on weather data and can be wrong. Scenes are illustrations, not photos of your view. Don't rely on the app for safety, travel or any decision where an inaccurate forecast could cause harm.

3. Golden Hour Pro

Some features need Golden Hour Pro, available as:

Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.

4. Weather data

Weather forecasts are provided by Apple Weather. See the data sources and attribution.

5. Fair use

Use the app for your personal, non-commercial use. Don't copy, modify, resell, reverse engineer or misuse it, except where the law allows. The app, its scenes, artwork and design belong to us and are protected by intellectual property law.

6. No warranty

The app is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it accurate and running, but we can't promise it will be error-free, always available or that any sunset will match the forecast.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes and ending

We may update the app and these terms. If a change is significant, we'll show it in the app or on this page. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it and cancelling any subscription.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
